This year, each year group is going to plan and create a product to sell at school. The class will then choose what to spend their profit on. Y2 decided to make Christmas biscuits to sell at the Christmas Fayre. We worked out what we would need to make them and decided that it would be better to sell them in paper bags than plastic bags so that we were more environmentally friendly! Using our Maths skills, we used weighing scales to measure the ingredients for our biscuits and team work skills to decorate them. At the Christmas Fayre, we sold our biscuits to the rest of school. They were so popular that we sold out in just over half an hour! We made a total profit of £85 which we were all very proud of. The children are yet to decide how they are going to spend the money so watch this space!
