To celebrate the start of the The Six Nations Rugby Championship, pupils took part in a running challenge using the school's all-weather running track. Collectively, the pupils had to run the entire distance from Woodhouse Primary School to Twickenham Stadium; a distance of 334.8 km. During the pupils' play times, the school's Sports Ambassadors counted the laps completed and collected this data over the course of a week. The target distance was reached within two days, therefore the pupils decided to run back to school and then run the same distance again. By the end of the week, the pupils (and quite a few members of staff!) had completed a total distance 924.6 km! Huge congratulations to all of the pupils for participating and a big thank you to the Sports Ambassadors for organising the event.
