This week we have been delighted to welcome some of our Reception pupils back to school.
Having considered the school’s risk assessment and capacity in terms of staffing, we are now in a position to invite those Year 1 pupils back to school from Monday 22nd June whose parents/carers have already indicated that they wished for their child to return. These families will be contacted separately.
In light of the number of Key Worker, Year R and Year 1 pupils who will be attending from next week, we will be unable to accommodate any further requests for places.
We appreciate that for our pupils in Year 6, this has been a disappointing end to their time at Woodhouse so would like to invite them to attend school on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th July to say their farewells. Further details will be communicated to parents of Year 6 pupils in due course.
Therefore the school will close for all other pupils on Wednesday 15th July at 3.15pm.
Currently, we have no information regarding the government’s plans for schools in September. Please be assured, we will communicate any information as soon as we are in a position to do so.
Staff will continue to interact with pupils who are not attending school and more details will follow tomorrow with regard to the new resources you will be able to access from Monday. Please keep visiting the Home Learning section on the school website as this is continually being reviewed and updated.
Your ongoing patience and support is greatly appreciated at what continues to be a very challenging time.
