We hope that all of our families are keeping well in these strange times that we find ourselves living in.
During this time, school will remain open only for the children of key workers, where there is no other alternative child care provision. If you are able to keep your child at home then you must. School continues to be run by a skeleton staff so the more children that can stay at home, the fewer staff needed. If you are a key worker, and you haven’t already done so, and your child needs to attend school then please email: [email protected]
For parents / carers of those pupils who have been in school, please keep us informed of any changes (via email) in order for us to avoid making unnecessary calls.
During the next two weeks (6th April – 17th April inclusive), the vast majority of staff will be taking a well-earned break therefore they will not be monitoring Purple Mash, our on-line learning platform and no additional activities will be added. The school website has a wealth of information and resources which have been selected by school staff, should you wish to access these, including some suggestions for Easter. The website also includes information and advice in relation to staying safe online in recognition of the increased amount of time children will be accessing on line learning.
We hope to see you all again very soon. In the meantime, take care, stay safe and, as always, thank you for all your support.
Mrs Lynn Daveney
