NEWS: Choir singing at retirement home

See what's coming up in the Events section

On Thursday 6th December, some of the school choir went to sing at Rastrick Hall and Grange Hall Care Home in Rastrick. Ten members of the Woodhouse School Choir travelled to the care home wearing the famous blue Santa hats ready to sing a few of our favourite Christmas songs.

We sang A Starry Night, Away in a Manger, Jingle Bells, Rudolph and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Many of the residents of the care home joined in  with the singing and everyone had a fantastic time.

One of the school choir said, "It was a wonderful thing to do and it made lots of people smile!"

We are hoping to sing again at a local care home maybe in the summer time.
